Connect Belong is a community for women entrepreneurs with monthly morning meetups in Queen Creek/Gilbert and Scottsdale/Paradise Valley, Arizona, and an online membership from $80 a month. I'm Tara Dunn, the founder, and I'm so glad you're here.
My story
I started out as an elementary school teacher. I studied Elementary Education at Arizona State University and taught in Gilbert Public Schools from 2006 to 2014. In 2018 I became a branding photographer, and in 2021 I began coaching.
Why I started Connect Belong
I founded Connect Belong in 2022 so women building businesses would never have to do it alone. Here, women get to know each other first and talk business second. Connect Belong became a registered trademark in 2026. Since 2022, more than 200 women have connected at over 50 Connect Belong events.
What I do today
I'm a leadership coach for founders who have a team. I work closely with the founder and with her team members so everyone works well together. I have worked with more than 30 founders and teams, and my coaching clients can live anywhere.
What I believe
Leadership is someone going first. It isn't having it all figured out. It's taking responsibility and moving forward. I want every woman who walks into a Connect Belong gathering to feel loved, seen, and heard.
A little more about me
I'm a mom of two boys, and I still offer branding photography for the founders I work with.
